How to Access Dashboard Configuration

How to Access Dashboard Configuration

The Dashboard Configuration module provides the tools necessary to control and customize the home page experience for your organization. This module allows you to configure global settings (such as branding and help links) and define role-based layouts, default columns, and messages for individual forms.
Alert
Note: There is currently issue with accessing this configuration page when your user account doesn't have "Dashboard ver.2025" configured as your landing page. Please visit this article for more details.
  1. Log in to the application with an administrative account.
  2. In the main navigation bar at the top of the page, click the Configuration menu.
  3. Click on Dashboard Configuration in the configuration menu.

Required Permissions

Access to the Dashboard Configuration module and the specific forms you can edit is controlled by two distinct levels of permissions.

Module Access

To see the "Dashboard Configuration" option in the main Configuration menu, your user role must have the following specific right enabled:
  1. Dashboard 2025 - Configuration Module

Form Access

Seeing the module does not automatically grant you the ability to configure every form in the system. The list of forms visible in the left-hand sidebar is determined by your specific rights for each form.

To see and configure a specific form (e.g., "Individual Education Plan"), your role must have the "Users in this role can configure Dashboards for this form" permission enabled under the Other Actions section of the Form Rights, found in Form Management.

Notes
Note: If you are unable to see the "Dashboard Configuration" page or a specific form in the sidebar that you believe you should have access to, please contact your system administrator to have the correct permissions assigned to your role.
