The Messages Card

The Messages Card

The Messages card acts as the central hub for communication from your administration team. It ensures that critical updates, instructions, and resources are always visible right next to your active workspace.

Message Hierarchy and Content

To keep you organized, Clevr prioritizes information based on its scope. Messages appear in a specific order within the card:
  1. System-Wide Messages: These appear first and contain global information meant for everyone in the organization. These can include:
    1. Announcements about scheduled maintenance or downtime.
    2. Upcoming organizational dates and deadlines.
    3. Links to external sites, training materials, or policy documents.
  2. Form-Specific Messages: These follow the system updates and provide instructions or details that apply specifically to the form you are currently viewing.
  3. Visual Separation: To help you distinguish between different announcements, individual messages are separated by a clear horizontal line.

Access and Navigation

The card is designed to stay out of your way while keeping you informed.
  1. Message Count: The header displays a total count of all active messages (e.g., Messages (2)). This allows you to tell at a glance if there is new information to review without having to scroll through the card.
  2. Collapsible Layout: If you’ve already read the updates and want more screen space for your record list, you can click the small arrow in the header to collapse the card.

Updating Announcements for Your Team

If you have administrative permissions and need to create, modify, or remove these messages, please refer to our technical guides on Alerts and Dashboard Configuration for full setup instructions.
