Placing a Hold on Deletion
At the beginning of each month, you should review the list of individuals scheduled for deletion. If you find someone whose record should not be removed, you can easily place a temporary hold on their data.
To Place a Hold on an Individual
Navigate to the list of people pending deletion by clicking Students or Staff/Other in the left-hand menu.
Locate the person you wish to keep in the list.
Click the Hold button in the same row as their name. A hold will be immediately applied.
To Place a Hold on Multiple People
From the Students or Staff/Other list, select the individuals you wish to place on hold by checking the box to the left of their name.
After making your selections, click the Hold Selected button located in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Once the individual/individuals are selected for holds, a modal pops up where it lists who is being held and allows you to put an expiry date to the hold.
The Hold button now reflects Resume. If you want to cancel the hold before the hold date passes, simply click Resume on the individual person, or select multiple and click Resume Selected in the upper right.
