Person Profile Search

Person Profile Search

The Person Profile Search is a quick way to access an individual's comprehensive records. It is a specialized search tool that allows you to easily find a person and jump directly to their Person Profile, where you can view their current forms and historical records in one unified place.

You can find the Person Profile Search in the Home Navigation Menu on the left. It appears directly under Class & Group Insights. Clicking this link triggers a search modal that pops up over your current workspace.

Using the Search Modal

The search modal provides a few different ways to find the correct profile:
  1. Type Filters: Narrow your search results to All, Students, or Staff using the toggle buttons at the top.
  2. Name Search: Type a name or ID number into the search field. You will need to enter at least three characters to start seeing results.

  3. Recently Viewed Profiles: For a quick shortcut, the modal lists profiles you have recently accessed. This is a helpful way to jump back into someone's records without having to perform a fresh search.

Viewing a Profile

Accessing a profile depends on whether you are searching for someone new or selecting a recent profile:
  1. From Search Results: Once you type a name, a list of matching individuals will appear. Clicking on any person in this list will immediately close the search and open their profile.
  2. From Recently Viewed: If the person appears in your Recently Viewed Profiles list, simply click the View Profile button next to their name to open their records.
Both actions open the unified Person Profile screen, which organizes all available records—including current entries and past history—into a single overview.
