Clevr - 25.07.0 - Release Notes

Released on April 21st, 2025.

Clevr Configuration

  1. Refinement of Default Page Rights for 'Email Screen' Access: To ensure page rights are granted more intentionally, we have updated the standard 'Default' set of page rights so that access to the 'Email Screen' page will no longer be included by default when applying this set going forward.

Important: This change only affects the default configuration for future use and does not alter any existing page rights. Users or roles currently having access to the 'Email Screen' will retain that access.

Dashboard

  1. Corrected Location Options in Listings Search Filter: We've fixed an issue with the location filter options in the Listings card search. Previously, when selecting criteria (especially related to the 'is (all value)' operator), the dropdown list of locations could sometimes include names from outside your organization. This list now accurately displays only locations associated with your organization, ensuring the choices available for filtering are correct and relevant.

Form Interface

  1. Improved Log Table Reliability with Quoted Column Headers: We have resolved an issue that could prevent Log Tables from loading if any included column headers contained quote characters (such as a single quote, ' ) derived from the underlying field name. The way Log Tables are processed has been updated to correctly handle these characters, improving reliability and ensuring tables display as expected even when field names include quotes.

Form Management

  1. Enhanced Form Copying Now Retains Element Order: We've improved the process for copying forms. Previously, the specific order defined for form elements (which dictates the keyboard navigation or tabbing order) was not always carried over to the new copy. This could result in a copied form losing its intended user flow, requiring manual effort to restore. This update ensures that the element order is now fully preserved when a form is copied, maintaining the intended layout and user navigation sequence automatically.
  2. Enhanced Form Restriction Scope and Renamed Setting: The Form Right setting previously labeled 'Role cannot add records to this form in Listings' has been updated to provide more comprehensive control. This setting now restricts adding new records not only from the 'Listings' area but also via the 'Add' button directly within the main form view (Form Interface). To accurately reflect this broadened scope, the setting has been renamed to 'Role cannot add new persons to this form'.

Important: Roles that already had this restriction enabled will continue to have it applied, now encompassing both methods of adding records.

Generic Data Import

  1. Improved Date Handling During Bulk Data Imports: We've enhanced our bulk data import tool. Previously, within certain date inputs, dates formatted differently than YYYY-MM-dd might not have imported correctly. This update ensures various common date formats are now recognized and accurately imported in these situations, increasing the reliability and flexibility of the bulk import process.
  2. Modernized Interface and New Dashboard for Generic Data Import: We've refreshed the configuration pages for the Generic Data Import feature, updating them with our modern user interface design for improved consistency and usability. Alongside this visual update, we're introducing the new Import Dashboard. This central dashboard provides a convenient overview of global import settings, displays any system warnings or errors related to data imports, and includes a comprehensive log of previous bulk imports (Bulk GDI runs). You can review the history of import runs, the settings used for each, and any errors that may have occurred. For more details on navigating and utilizing these updated interfaces, please consult the revised Generic Data Import documentation.

Infrastructure

  1. Improved Browser Cache Handling for Smoother Updates: We've implemented changes to how application code is loaded and cached by your web browser to ensure a smoother experience after updates. In the past, some users occasionally needed to manually clear their browser's cache following a deployment to ensure they were using the latest, compatible version of the code. Our recent updates to the caching mechanism are designed to prevent this issue moving forward, allowing your browser to automatically fetch the correct files and reducing the need for manual intervention after future application updates.

Integration

  1. Integration Now Supports Numbers in Names: We have updated the to correctly handle a person's name that contains numeric characters (0-9). Previously, individuals with numbers included in their names might have been inadvertently excluded during the data synchronization process. In some cases, this could cause their corresponding accounts within Clevr to be incorrectly marked as inactive. This update ensures these records are now processed correctly during the sync, maintaining accurate user statuses.
  2. New Bulk Import for Entra ID Security Group Configurations: To streamline the management of Entra ID Security Group settings within our system, we have introduced a new bulk import option. Administrators can now import configurations for multiple Entra ID Security Groups at once using a CSV file format. To ensure data is formatted correctly for the import, a downloadable template CSV file is conveniently available directly within the Import window (modal). This feature simplifies the process of setting up or updating Entra ID Security Group information in bulk.

Notifications

  1. Refined Targeting for Role-Based Notifications: To ensure notifications reach precisely the intended audience, we've updated the recipient selection logic for role-based notifications. This change automatically excludes Clevr Staff accounts from receiving notifications based purely on role assignments, even if those accounts hold the relevant roles (e.g., for testing or setup purposes). This refinement ensures communications are accurately directed only to the operational users who require them based on their active, day-to-day roles.
