The Notification Board is a module within Clevr that you can use to view all notifications that you have received and sent to other users.
The Notification Board has a brand new look and feel, and was updated in April of 2024.

Accessing the Notification Board
If the Notification Board has been enabled for your role, it can be accessed via clicking on the “Notifications” menu item in the top left corner of the Dashboard. The red number beside the bell icon indicates the total number of unread notification you have received.
Notification Board Overview
Users can choose to either view all notifications they have received, or select a specific form to view the notifications for. The numbers beside the form name or Inbox selected indicate the total number of unread notifications for that form or the Inbox.
You will have a few columns within the Notification Board with information about the specific notification.
Heading | Purpose |
Subject/About | Displays the subject of the notification email and the name of the person the notification is about |
Sent By | The name of the user who sent you the notification |
Date | The date the notification was sent |
Form | The name of the form the notification was deployed from |
Status | Displays the status of the notification. The status can include: read, unread, queued, archived. |
Mark as Read / Mark as Unread / Archive Notifications
You can bulk flag notifications as read, unread, or archived by selecting the checkboxes beside each notification and selecting the action you’d like to apply. Select the checkbox beside the Subject / About heading to select all.
The notification board will default to showing you the 50 most recent notifications. If you need to navigate to view older notifications, you can choose to display up to 100, select the page you wish to view in the page number dropdown, or move to the next page by clicking on the arrows.
Notification Actions
You can view additional details and information about the received notifications by clicking on the Subject / About field.
Clicking on this field will open a pop up window with additional information:

Subject | Please note that this section does not have a label, it’s the text that appears at the top of the pop up. This displays the subject from the notification email. |
Sent by | The name of the user who sent you the notification |
Form | The name of the form the notification was deployed from |
About | Displays the name of the person the notification is about |
Date | The date the notification was sent |
Action / Custom Field 1-3 / notifyField 1 - 10 | These columns can be flagged on a form field to appear in the Notification Board |
Message | Please note that this section does not have a label, it’s the text that appears towards the bottom of the pop up. This displays a message with more information about the notification. |
Open Record | Clicking this button will take you to the record the notification was sent from |
Archive | Notifications you are finished with can be archived to keep your main view tidy by clicking this button |
Next / back buttons | Takes you to the previous or next notification automatically. |
Close | Closes the pop up window

Note: Notifications sent before the update in April will not have a message displayed, as the message did not exist before the update.
View Sent Notifications
In the left hand menu, you can select “Sent” to view all notifications you have sent to other users.
View Scheduled Notifications
In the left hand menu, you can select “Scheduled” to view all scheduled notifications.
View Archived Notifications
In the left hand menu, you can select “Archived” to view all archived notifications.
Archived notifications are separated into "Received" and "Sent" categories.
Urgent Notifications
If your district has flagged notifications as urgent, they will appear within the Notification Board with an urgent icon as shown below:
Filtering Notifications
You also apply a filter to narrow down your list of notifications. Click the Filter button to begin. This will expose a list of filters to choose from.
You can choose to filter by:
About / Sent by
About is the person the notification you received is about, sent by is the name of the person who sent you the notification. Clicking the About filter will display a pop up where you can enter the person’s first name / last name / email / ID number.
Hit search to apply your filter. The bottom of the pop up window will update with a list of persons that match your filter. Click on the person you wish to filter by. The people displayed are only those people who you've received notifications from or about. If someone's name doesn't appear in this list, I means you do not have a notification from or about them.
Date Range
You can apply a date range filter to locate notifications received during a certain time period. Clicking the date range filter will display a pop up calendar where you can select a begin date and an end date for your date range.
Status
You can filter for notifications you have read or that are unread. Clicking on the status field will yield a dropdown for you to make your selection.
Switching Inboxes with Filters
When switching between inboxes, your filters will be maintained. Your filters will be cleared if to switch between an Inbox, Sent, Scheduled, and Archived.
Clearing Your Filters
Click the X button that appears in the filter element to clear your filter.
