Export Triggers - Basic Configuration

Export Triggers - Basic Configuration

Export Triggers define how the Export process is initiated, based on the specific configuration you set. Understanding the basic configuration settings for Triggers is essential for customizing and controlling your Export processes.

Key Configuration Fields

Trigger Name

The Trigger Name is a user-friendly label used to identify the Trigger both in the Audit Log and within the list of Triggers for the Export. This allows users to easily locate and distinguish between multiple triggers.

Status

The Status setting enables or disables the Trigger without altering its configuration. When disabled, the Trigger will not initiate the Export process, but its settings remain intact for future use.

Trigger Type

The Trigger Type defines how the Export process will be initiated. Different Trigger types allow for flexibility in automating the Export process. Common Trigger types include:
  1. API
  2. Scheduled
  3. Output
These basic configuration settings offer the flexibility needed to control when and how your Export processes are triggered, laying the foundation for more advanced settings such as Output and Record Filters.
