Clevr - 24.11.0 - Release Notes

Released on June 17th, 2024.

Clevr Configuration

  1. Organizations can now set their local timezone. This setting will enable the display of dates and times adjusted for the local timezone in future updates.

Editor

  1. Repeater controls have been decoupled from the repeater and are now individual elements on the form. This update provides several new capabilities:
    1. The Add button can be positioned anywhere on the form, though for optimal user experience, keep it close to the repeater it controls. Avoid placing it within the "stretch" container, as this may affect the positioning of elements below the repeater.
    2. The Add button can now be duplicated and placed both above and below the repeater as needed.
    3. The Delete button can be placed anywhere within the repeater container.
    4. The text content of the Add button is now customizable and can change based on the user's language settings.
    5. Accessibility tags can be added to the buttons to enhance the experience for screen reader users.
    6. Role access rights can now be applied to the Add and Delete buttons, allowing control over who can add or delete repeater instances.
    7. The Delete button has received a visual update.

Form Interface

  1. During a Form to Form Import of data, an erroneous alert would occasionally appear. This alert, which did not contain important information, has been removed.
  2. The buttons associated with repeatable sections have been enhanced to improve accessibility:
    1. They can now be focused using keyboard navigation.
    2. They can be triggered using the space or enter key.
  3. Dropdowns without a selected option have been updated to ensure that screen readers announce that no option is selected, rather than reading nothing.

Gridview

  1. Resolved an issue in Gridview where previewing a record occasionally resulted in a blank white screen on some forms.

Infrastructure

  1. When a software error occurs, users will no longer see a confusing page of error logs. Instead, they will be presented with a page stating that an error has occurred, along with a reference code to provide to support if needed.

Integration

  1. The nightly Integration process was not completing imports from the SIS Textfiles into all forms. The Integration has been updated to automatically resolve this issue and continue with the import.
  2. We have enhanced our data verification process to prevent students and staff from being incorrectly assigned to locations when inconsistent data is received from an SIS partner.

Notifications

  1. Notifications will now enforce a configurable cool-down period between successful sends. If a user attempts to re-send the same notification within the cool-down period, they will receive a message indicating the required wait time before they can send again.
  2. When editing a notification, you will now find an option to send the notification to the subject of the form under "Special Recipient Rules" in the Notification Editor.

Record Rollover Wizard

  1. The Record Rollover Wizard has been updated to alert users when the setting to automatically add students to a form at their new location is not enabled. This setting is crucial for rolling over forms to ensure students who have recently transferred from grade 8 to grade 9 are not missed.

Reports

  1. Reports that display the date and time of printing will now align with the organization's timezone setting.
