Clevr - 24.08.0 - Release Notes

Released on May 6th, 2024.

Authentication

  1. When you log out, you will now be sent to a new "You have been logged out of Clevr" page instead of landing on the login page. This was done to prevent confusion for users who normally log in via a third-party but would assume the Clevr login page would accept their credentials.

Form Interface

  1. For users who rely on Screen Readers, our form interface will now read the description assigned to each field. This helps users better understand what each field is for, improving accessibility for everyone.
  2. We fixed a problem that caused fields to disappear in forms configured to display in multiple languages when there was no English description applied.
  3. To prevent users from accidentally sending multiple emails when using the mail button in a form, the "Send" button has been disabled after the first click. This ensures that duplicate emails aren't sent while the modal is still open.
  4. The limitation where only a single pair of fields could be used to select source records when importing data from another form has been removed. Now, organizations can define preset criteria for selecting source records based on multiple pairs of fields, enhancing flexibility in the data transfer process.
  5. We've taken proactive steps to perform maintenance on older forms. This prevents any copies made from exhibiting erratic tabset behavior, ensuring a smoother experience for users copying form layouts.

Generic Data Import

  1. Administrators who use Generic Data Import to import information into records can now perform a single bulk import from these files. This new feature allows for one-time imports with settings such as record creation and behavior for blank values, providing more control and flexibility.

Groups and Classes

  1. Improvements have been made to the searching of Custom Groups, allowing for more results to be returned by a single search before reaching an internal limit. This enhancement ensures that users can find the information they need more effectively without hitting any search limitations prematurely.

Integration

  1. Additional internal tools have been developed to assist in monitoring SIS processes that gather API data and manage the creation of duplicated people using integration data. These additions help us ensure smoother data integration processes and minimize the occurrence of duplicate people.
  2. How Person Status is displayed in the "View Source Data" module has been updated to better represent the complex variables that contribute to a person's status when integrating with Edsembli.

Notifications

  1. The ability to display, sort, and filter by form fields has been added to the Notification Board. Displaying these columns is optional in the Main Inbox and controlled with the setting "Show Form Fields", which can be found in the filters.

Person Management

  1. The "User Details" card has been updated to prevent occasional internal errors. Now, you should no longer encounter these errors when using the card.

Report Editor

  1. A check has been implemented to identify background styles in reports, which are not supported by the Report Processor. Sometimes, these styles were applied regardless, causing the report to fail to generate. Now, if such styles are detected, the user editing the report will be warned, helping to avoid issues with report generation.
